Upon closer examination, it became apparent that Warangal’s size was a result of an administrative amalgamation. The authorities had combined three cities into one, creating what is known as the Warangal Tri-City, encompassing Kazipet, Hanamkonda, and Warangal itself. This peculiar arrangement explained the discrepancy between the town’s modest appearance and its status on Wikipedia.
The Kakatiya Dynasty's Vast Realm
Today, Telangana constitutes only a fraction of the extensive Kakatiya kingdom that once reigned supreme.
